Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Shift(s): 1st: 8 am – 5 pm
Position Summary:
Our client is a distribution center for heavy equipment parts such as earth moving and agricultural equipment. The inventory Lead position involves working with teammates to investigate discrepancies to ensure inventory is properly located throughout the warehouse.
Requirements & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience or license in handling forklifts.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic problem-solving knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous inventory experience.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
- Previous experience with WMS Inventory system is preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Primary Duties Include:
- Working with teammates to investigate discrepancies as they arise.
- Perform cycle counts as per the daily requirements and investigate discrepancies as they arise.
- Monitor and control inventory stocks to ensure inventory is properly located within the warehouse.
- Research, document and resolve inventory discrepancies using all available resources. Notify Supervisor of discrepancies.
- Responsible for driving a picker truck as necessary.
- Is punctual and consistently available for work.
- Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.
- Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules, and report any potential safety hazards to management.
- Maintain all client information that may be encountered either directly or indirectly while in the performance of the job in strict confidence in accordance with HIPAA and/or any other pertinent confidentiality regulations.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
- Evaluate new inventory, ensuring it’s ready to ship.
- Hire and train new employees.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace and focusing on safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
